There is a statistic that looms over SPGroup members and the industry as a whole: for every technician entering the industry, three are retiring. The challenge of recruiting, training and retaining top talent is at an all-time high and anticipated to become ever more challenging. In this collaborative session, we’ll explore best practices for recruiting and retaining technician talent, hearing from SPGroup member companies as well as placement groups for soon-to-be discharged military service men and women, and finally, the Department of Labor. The goal of this session is for each SPGroup member company to develop recruiting strategies for experienced and new technicians alike.
