Curriculum: In today’s unique business environment, the Service Managers role and responsibilities are evolving rapidly. Service Managers must adapt to the changing environment to maintain the client and employee relationships essential to our SPGroup Members long-term success.

SPGroup will introduce the Service Managers Career Development Program to help meet these challenges. This session will introduce the core curriculum with the intent of delivering a highly interactive Program to maximize the individual Service Managers learning experience and application of content.
The “Program” will consist of six (6) Courses:
1.    HVAC Service Fundamentals  
2.    Leadership Fundamentals
3.    Financial Management
4.    Recruitment
5.    Communications
6.    Service Managers Forum (Live)


Each Course consists of a series of four (4) “Modules” to be completed online through the SPGroup Learning Management Systems (LMS). At the conclusion of each course, SPGroup will host a “Virtual Class” to review the course materials and conduct interactive group exercises to apply the content in real world scenarios.  At the conclusion of the Program, SPGroup will host a Live Service Managers Forum (in person, if conditions allow). 

Roundtable: Prior to attending the LEADSeminar, each Service Leadership participant will be asked to complete a Service Managers Assessment Profile. The Assessment is designed to help identify the participants individual strength and/or opportunities for future development. SPGroup will review the cumulative data of the group and discuss the findings. Additionally, SPGroup will discuss the application of the SPAcademy Apprenticeship Placement Test and Technician Continuing Education Assessment introduced in 2021.
