Steve started his career as an Officer in the United States Army and served from 1983-1993. He began his HVAC industry career with Honeywell Inc. and the Linc Corporation. As Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Linc Corporation, he developed what became known as the “Linc Selling System” that is still used today. Steve later moved to Colorado working with Tolin Mechanical Systems Company where he became President/CEO. Having developed a $32MM maintenance base, Tolin was the platform company for Service Logic, LLC where Steve served as the founding President/CEO for eight years. In 2013 Steve purchased the Padgett Group, LLC and doubled the size of the business in five years. Today, as Chairman of SPGroup and Connect Software, he is passionate about the future opportunities that can be realized through the utilization of a data analytics platform that has helped create a track record of successful HVAC Service Companies.
